Africa Center for Law and Human Rights (Africa Center for Law), was established on June 15, 2016, by a dedicated team of rule of law advocates and human rights defenders mainly to promote the rule of law and ensure human and peoples’ rights compliance in Africa. Our aim and/or objective is to work to promote the rule of law and defend the rights and interests of minority communities; particularly the rights and interests of vulnerable and poor women, children and men of Africa by engaging in programmatic and strategic litigation to uphold the rule of law and work to end impunity in Africa. Our core programs and activities are:1) human rights education, 2) community empowerment, 3) promotion of the rule of law, 4) awareness, strategic litigation and training, and 5), communication and publicity that border on rule of law and human rights issues affecting Africa.
