Lawalazu Road Community, Voinjama City, Lofa County. Humanitarian Initiative for Community Development (HICOD) was established on the January 21, 2009 by 21 volunteers from the seven political districts of Lofa County (Voinjama, Kolahun, Foya, Salayea, Vahun and Zorzor) in order to provide humanitarian services for the most marginalized people in the society. HICOD has worked for Plan International, Right To Play International, IREX/USAID/YMCA, International Rescue Committee, DEN-L, UNDP, and National Elections Commission (NEC) with good track records.  We strive to serve humanity and to provide sustainable services for education, health, peace, social & economic livelihood.
