The organization was founded in Voinjama City on March 2, 2010 by Youth and Women Activists from diversed development backgrounds to advocate for basic human needs of the people of Lofa County with major focus on Safe drinking water and skills training for women. We work to build a culture of respect for people’s rights and dignity irrespective of their geographical location through education. Since then, PDOV has been providing communities in need in Lofa County with portable water supply and community development projects. The continuous and reliable supply of wholesome and safe drinking water is at the very heart of what we do as an organization. PDOV also prides itself on being a locally based organization providing communities with skills training and educating for vulnerable women in partnership with Plan International Liberia and the Government of Liberia.
