The Youth in Technology and Arts Network or YOTAN is a nonprofit organization contributing to youth social development and strengthening of citizens’ advocacy to lead impact and reduce poverty.  YOTAN foster initiatives that inspires innovative action to social change leveraging on civic engagement with tech and innovation taking a social development approach to advance opportunities for young people, amplify citizen voices and inclusion of underprivileged center on participation and improve girls and children access to quality education, promote health equity and right. Our Program cultivates aspiring leaders and engaged youth, enhances students’ academic horizons making them see new possibilities STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), provides civic education and skill building, pursue stories that have potential for impact and strengthen citizens’ advocacy using a social accountability tools and approach to increase local government transparency and Accountability for better service delivery for citizens at local and sub-national level. MISSION: Collaborative approach that promote innovative solutions to affords opportunities for marginalized youth and women discover their Potential and inspire action that strive to improve better service delivery for citizens VISION: A transparent and an accountable, gender balanced society where every person is informed, protected and working to their full potential.
